Bluefield Area Transit is seeking applicants for this position. Applicants should have a valid Class D license and possess a good driving record. Must pass background check and drug test. Must be able to work flexible hours and be able to obtain a CDL.
Public Works Laborer
Applicants for this full-time position must be at least 18 years old. Responsible for maintaining city property through the use of multiple small tools (i.e. hand tools, shovels, weed eaters, riding mowers, etc.) while taking direction from the direct supervisor. Duties may include, but will not be limited to garbage pick-up, mowing, trimming, leaf removal, snow removal and other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor. CDL is a plus.
