Bluefield Receives Several Grant Awards from the Community Foundation of the Virginias

The City of Bluefield is excited to announce several grant awards from the Community Foundation of the Virginias. The Bluefield Fire Department received a grant for Hydrant Flags, Bluefield Parks & Rec Department received a grant for Lane Lines for use in the pool, and the Bluefield Police Department received a grant for Cages for use in the cruisers. Chief Cary, Bluefield Fire Department, Charles Ridlehuber, Bluefield Parks and Rec, and Chief Dillow, Bluefield Police Department, would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Virginias for their generous donations. On behalf of the City of Bluefield, and the respective departments, thank you Community Foundation of the Virginias for making our city a safer place to live, work, and play. Grant presentations will be awarded at the Tuesday October 8, 2019 City of Bluefield Board meeting.
