About Bluefield |

A quiet city with a laid-back and relaxed attitude, the people of Bluefield are noted for their helpfulness, and friendly neighborly ways. When there is a need, our community comes together. One shinning example is our wonderful Yakkity-Yak playground located in Lotito City Park. Funded by the community, the recreational area was constructed by volunteers in only five days.
Also located in our forty-acre city park are six walking/biking trails, two softball diamonds, two little league baseball fields, three basketball courts, newly renovated tennis courts, and equestrian ring, a sand volleyball court and four picnic shelters perfect for family outings.
