Bluefield Trails and Ales Challenge

The City of Bluefield Parks and Recreation is proud to present Bluefield Trails & Ales Challenge held in conjunction with Oktoberfest in the Park on September 28th, 2019.                                                                                 

The first 100 participants to preregister for either the mountain bike race or 5K trail run will receive an event t-shirt.  5k trail run and mountain bike race participants will receive a discount on the Oktoberfest in the Park admission tickets the day of the event.  Enjoy the authentic spirit of Oktoberfest with craft and German beer, food and music. Visit www.visitmercercounty.com for Oktoberfest in the Park details. 

The mountain bike race is a USA Cycling sanctioned race.  Racers competing in the mountain bike race must be licensed by USA Cycling. Available at registration, $10 one-day USA Cycling license.  Pro/Cat 1 must hold an annual USA Cycling license.  Approved helmets required when riding/racing on the bike.

Pro/Expert Payout: $500* CASH. 100% payout. (*Payout is based on turnout of Pro/Expert Categories)

On-site Registration: $5 extra for 5K trail run and $10 extra for mountain bike race.
