FIRST 100 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT T-SHIRT -
The Annual Holiday of Lights 5k Challenge will be on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Run Roanoke will be the race timing company again this year.
The FIRST 100 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS will receive an event t-shirt, so register early. ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON NOVEMBER 17th, 2023 @ 3:00 PM. ONLINE DAY OF REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE AT 12:00 AM UNTIL 3:00 PM ON NOVEMBER 18, 2023.

The race start/finish will be near the tennis courts in City Park.
Day of race in person REGISTRATION OPENS at 3:00 pm and closes at 5:00 pm. (PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED DAY OF 5K ARE AS FOLLOWS: CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, or Credit Card* (with a small fee). The challenge begins at 5:30 pm.
Event parking will be in the parking lot near the tennis courts in City Park located at 1780 Stadium Drive Bluefield, WV 24701.
Following the event, there be an awards ceremony at the youth center auditorium where it is nice and warm. There will be prizes for the most creative costumes, so dress in your Christmas best! Yes, you can wear a Christmas Tree!
The Holiday of Lights Festival has been a tradition for the City of Bluefield, West Virginia since 1997. With over 1,200,000 lights on 40+ acres of land this coming season, the display is sure to be promising for the two Virginias. In addition to this year’s festival, we will be hosting our third Holiday of Lights 5K Challenge! We hope that you will join us on this festive run filled with dazzling lights, Christmas tunes, and holiday costumes. There will be prizes for the most creative costumes, so dress in your Christmas best! Yes, you can wear a Christmas Tree!
